County and Municipal Government

•     Borough of State College, PA — developed a strategic information technology plan, assisted with the evaluation of software to replace a tax collection system, and provided an independent review of the organization of the IT department.

•     City of Chester, PA — developed a three year strategic IT plan, assisted with the selection of a new financial and payroll/human resources computer system and managed the implementation of the system selected by the City.

•     County of Blair, PA — developed a strategic telecommunications plan, prepared an RFP and evaluated vendor bids for a new business phone system, and assisted with the implementation of the selected phone system.

•     County of Franklin, PA — performed IT feasibility studies for several departments; assisted with the selection and implementation of a new tax assessment/claims computer system; prepared an RFP and evaluated vendor bids for a new business phone system for the entire County government, and assisted with the implementation of the selected phone system.

•     County of Frederick, MD — our management consulting firm developed a comprehensive strategic IT plan for the County’s Department of Public Works.

•     County of Lycoming, PA — performed a diagnostic review and assessment of voice, data and video telecommunications for the entire County, prepared an RFP and evaluated vendor bids for a new business phone system, and assisted with the implementation of the new phone system; assisted with the selection of a new financial and payroll/human resources computer system; assisted with the evaluation and selection of a multi-jurisdictional police records computer system.

•     County of Montgomery, MD — performed an independent assessment regarding the status of a $7.5-million computer system which was being installed in a County department and had encountered significant problems during the implementation process.

•     County of Northumberland, PA — assisted with the selection of new computer systems and software for three departments: finance/human resources, tax assessment/claims and transportation (paratransit); evaluated vendor bids for a new business telephone system for the Administration Complex, and assisted with the implementation of the new phone system.

•     Fairfax County Water Authority — developed a strategic IT plan through management consulting for this public utility which provides drinking water to more than 1.2 million people in Northern Virginia.

•     Township of Derry (Hershey), PA — performed an assessment of the Township’s computer systems, prepared an RFP and assisted with the selection of new computer systems and software; assisted with the acquisition and implementation of a new business phone system.

•     Township of Lower Merion (Ardmore), PA — conducted an independent diagnostic review and assessment of the Township’s computer systems and management consulting service to assess its IT staffing and operations.

•     Township of Springettsbury (York), PA — assisted with the selection and implementation of a new business phone system.

Financial Services

•     Benchmark Federal Credit Union — conducted a compliance review of the credit union’s Security Program, the primary focus of which is its information systems and technologies.

•     First National Bank of Marysville — perform biannual IT general controls reviews and IT audits.

•     First National Bank of Mifflintown — perform biannual IT general controls reviews and IT audits.

•     New Castle County School Employees Federal Credit Union — assisted with the selection of a new core financial computer system, including all banking and accounting applications.

•     McGrail Merkel Quinn, CPAs — perform annual IT general controls reviews for several MMQ community bank and savings & loan association clients as a component of their annual financial audits.

•     Reinsel Kuntz Lesher, CPAs — perform annual IT general controls reviews for approximately 30 RKL credit union clients as a component of their annual financial audits.

•     The Bank of Landisburg — perform biannual IT general controls reviews.

Commercial/Industrial

•     Cable Services Company — assisted this $30-million contractor with the acquisition of a new computer system to run its general accounting, estimating, job costing and related business applications.

•     Mount Joy Wire Corporation — conducted diagnostic review, assessment through management consulting of this manufacturing company’s IT systems; prepared an RFP for an ERP (enterprise resource planning) computer system, and assisted with the evaluation of vendor proposals; assisted with the creation of a disaster recovery plan.

•     Phoenix Mecano, Inc. — developed a comprehensive IT Policies, Standards and Procedures Manual for this $25-million electronics manufacturer.

•     Tim-Bar Corporation — assisted this $150-million multi-state manufacturer of corrugated paper products with the determination of a strategic direction for its information systems; conducted a review of the IT department’s personnel and operations by our management consulting firm.

Not-for-Profit

•     Pennsylvania Bar Institute — assisted this CLE (continuing legal education) affiliate of the Pennsylvania Bar Association with the evaluation of a new computer system.

•     Pennsylvania Medical Society — conducted a computer needs assessment and developed a strategic IT plan; prepared two RFPs for new computer systems and software, and assisted with the evaluation and selection of appropriate vendors.

•    The Brethren Home Community — assisted this 900 resident continuing care retirement community (CCRC) with the development of an RFP and the evaluation of vendor proposals for a local area network.
